Are the screencasts created secure?
Yes, and we take security seriously. In fact, we practice what we preach by using Screenr Business extensively for our own business. All screencast URL’s are encrypted with bank-level SSL security. Additionally, all screencast URL’s are composed of a non-guessable link. Just how non-guessable is the link? Your chances of guessing a link correctly are 1 in 5,316,911,983,139,663,491,615,228,241,121,400,000.☺
What about access permissions?
There are two types of access permissions you can set for your screencasts:
Anyone with the link - Anyone who has the non-guessable link can access. No sign-in required. This setting is ideal for screencasts that are submitted by your customers since they don’t have logins to your Screenr Business account.
Sign-in required - Only users of your Screenr Business account can access. Sign-in required. This setting is suited for internal collaboration among your Screenr Business users.
Regardless of the setting chosen, all screencasts URLs are non-guessable links.
How long do my screencasts stay around?
For as long as you have an active Screenr Business account, we’ll maintain your screencasts so you’ll never have to worry about any broken links.
